Dear customer,

As you may know, some of your API requests contain JSON with a BOM header.

What is a BOM header?

The byte order mark (BOM) is a particular usage of the special Unicode character.
BOM use is optional. Its presence interferes with the use of UTF-8 by software.
We use JSON in our software and JSON is UTF-8.

At the moment there is a work-around active which ensures that despite the BOM headers you can still use our service.
However, for the benefit of the good service and performance of our platform, we will disable the work-around on friday May 15, 2020.

In order to make good use of our service, please ensure that your implementation does not include a BOM-header when using JSON.

We will approach customers who use BOM headers directly. Without any message from us, your implementation is already set up well.

Kind regards,
Evidos
